Program I : From Gut Strings to Grand Piano

Judy's solo recital program endeavours to acquaint audiences with solo Baroque repertoire performed on period Baroque violin and violoncello da spalla, as well as Classical and Romantic compositions on the violin and piano.

Repertoire: Solo violin works by Matteis, Biber; solo cello suite by Bach; Mozart violin sonata with the pre-recorded fortepiano part; and works by Beethoven, Liszt, and Brahms.

Instruments: Baroque violin, violoncello da spalla, and piano.

Program II: Essence Baroque

"Essence Baroque" program features some of the baroque period's favorite composers including N. Matteis, H.I.F. Biber, J.S. Bach, G.P. Telemann, F. Couperin, J.-P. Rameau, E.-C. Jacquet de la Guerre and D. Scarlatti.

Instruments: Baroque violin, violoncello da spalla, harpsichord, clavichord & organ

Program III: Essence Classique

“Essence Classique” highlights works by C.P.E. Bach, Haydn, Clementi, Auernhammer, and Beethoven on the piano, as well as a Mozart violin sonata with the pre-recorded fortepiano part.

Instruments: Classical violin and fortepiano.

Program IV: Essence Romantique

"Essence Romantique" program highlights works by Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Chopin, Liszt and Brahms that feature the expressive romanticism of nineteenth-century music.
