Album "Essence Baroque" (2022)

Description

"Essence Baroque" is multi-instrumentalist Judy Hung’s first solo album. It features some of the baroque period's favorite composers including N. Matteis, H.I.F. Biber, J.S. Bach, G.P. Telemann, F. Couperin, J.-P. Rameau, E.-C. Jacquet de la Guerre and D. Scarlatti.

“This music collection is like a stained-glass window; every movement is a small glass pane, shaped and coloured to give the listener a distinct insight into each composer represented. Together, they create a wonderful view of an amazing era.”

The album was recorded in Concordia University’s Oscar Peterson Hall, Montreal, Canada by Professor Mark Corwin with Rémi Collard as executive producer.

Release: October 2022.
